Why- Due to the poor economy, everyone is looking for a way to save much needed money. By cutting school weeks from five days to four, major expenses will be saved. These include utility bills, gas for buses and much more.
I think this is a good idea. Schools will be able to save money and put it to better use. Also, kids will love to have a shorter week. The school system can save a lot of money that will benefit them in the future.

What- The researchers want to find out which diet will allow people to lose the most weight. They took over 800 overweight people and assigned a number of them to four different diets. They used their results to find out which diet will allow a person to lose the most weight.
Where- The study was being run Boston, Massachussetts and Baton Rouge, Lousisiana.
When- The study took place over a 2
year period. The patrons were monitored for 2 years to find out the results of the diets.
Why- Researches want to find out what will help a person lose weight. The diets assigned to the 811 participants were all low in something different. The results were used to determine what needs to be cut out of a persons lifestyle in order for them to maintain a healthy weight.
I think this was a good experiment. People go from diet to diet with no results. This experiment allows them to find out what exactly they need to cut out from their lives in order to stay fit without having to go through a bunch of diets.
